LISA RACINA-TORRE is entering her 31st year of teaching dance, all levels, serving as Founder/Owner/Ballet Mistress at Denton Dance Conservatory for intermediate, advanced and pre-professional dancers, as well as Artistic Director for DCCB 2, the studio’s performing company. She founded and is the Artistic Director of Denton City Contemporary Ballet, the Conservatory’s affiliate non-profit dance company. Ms. Racina-Torre holds a BFA in Ballet and Modern Dance from Texas Christian University, has served on the summer faculty of Interlochen Arts Camp in Michigan in 1993 and 1995, as an Adjunct Professor of Ballet at the University of North Texas, and has performed, taught and choreographed professionally for schools and companies throughout the United States. Her dancers have been accepted at numerous prestigious university dance programs as well as summer dance programs and intensives throughout the country.
